Happy New Year to all of our fans and supporters! It’s been a great year here at Thunder Valley Racing, and now it’s time for us to set course for the 2007 race season. We are proud to announce an exciting opportunity for aspiring journalists and writers to join the Thunder Valley Racing team this year, through our newly created Journalism Internship program. Auto racing continues to grow worldwide, and interest in the many women racers competing at every level has grown as well.
Over the last seven years, Thunder Valley Racing has become known as a key media source for women in racing. A key goal for us this year is to expand our coverage of women racers by showcasing all aspects of women’s role in this sport. From the stock car ranks, to the rally, drag race, sports car, and karting worlds, we will continue to bring our readers the latest information on the many talented women who get behind the wheel of a racecar in the pursuit of their dreams. Additionally, we will be featuring the many talented women who serve key roles in design, engineering, marketing, and race support roles in our sport. As you make your race plans for the New Year, I wish all of you a safe, successful 2007 race season, and encourage each of you to dream big, work hard, and follow your heart!
